From cosy knitwear to wool coats, layering to chic winter accessories – there are so many things I love about Autumnal dressing. I’m so excited to be hosting a VIP fashion event in Bridgewater Shopping Centre on Saturday September 23rd to not only chat through the biggest trends of the season but also show everyone how to style some chic Autumn/Winter looks and how best to get the most wear out of your new season finds.

Favourite Trends for Autumn/Winter ’17

From Givenchy to Fendi and pretty much every show in-between, red was a key trend on the A/W’17 runways. Inject a pop of colour into your winter wardrobe with a striking red blazer or red handbag. And if you’re feeling sartorially brave – red boots are also a big trend this season!

Wide Belts

Wide corset-style belts have made a big comeback this season with high-streets stores like New Look set to release a varied collection this season. During the style event I’ll be showing ways of how you can style different outfits and make the most of each items and accessories like statement belts which are ideal for switching up your looks.

Check Print

Check is the print of the season! I’ve already invested in a check blazer and have my eye on a wool check coat and mini-skirt like the below look from Oasis.

Other key trends I’ll be embracing include oversized knitwear, statement shoes and winter ruffles.

One of the things I’m excited about styling during the VIP style event on the 23rd is work-wear! I find work-wear a tricky one at times and it’s also something I get asked to feature quite a lot on my blog. So, I’ll be discussing how to work the key trends and stylish pieces into your work wardrobe.
