A big thank you for such a great turn out for the East Coast Classics and Vintage Car Club event, which was held on the 25th of June at the centre, with more than 70 vehicles.

A big congratulations to the show winners, Neil Motherway (Pontiac Catalina), Ronnie Jackson (Mercedes 450SE), Kevin Tuke (Land Rover Series), Stephen ONeill (Ford Escort Mark 1), Lance Kinsella (Golf GTI Mark 1) and Bryan Lanigan (Heinkel Bubble Car).

A massive World War II sea mine that has sat outside the Arklow Maritime Museum, for almost half a century has been refurbished and primed to welcome visitors for generations to come.

The annual East Coast FM Coffee Morning event took place at Opera Italian Cafe Restaurant and Pizzeria on the 21st, to raise money for local cancer support charities in Wicklow. Generous raffle prizes were donated and every €1 from each coffee sold went towards cancer support. Local singer, Julie Ann Dwyer gave a wonderful performance and there was a fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant. A big thank you to everyone who dropped in and supported this great cause.
