East Coast FM's Give a Gift
Bridgewater Shopping Centre is a proud supporter of the East Coast FM Give a Gift Campaign.
We’re blown away by the immense support this year so far, with a huge number of gifts already donated to help families in need this year.
Christmas Card Workshop
On Saturday evening, we got into the holiday spirit with a cosy, creative evening crafting Christmas cards in the centre!
Customer Appreciation Day
Our customer appreciation day on December 6th was a huge success this year, with free mince pies, hot chocolate and live music in the centre!
Christmas Taster Day - Arklow Farmer’s Market
On December 4th, we held a Farmer’s Market Taster Day. Customers were invited to sample produce from local suppliers, with free samples of Salmon and crab from Kilmore Seafresh, Fresh Guinness bread and mince pies from EK Bakes, yoghurt and butter from Salt Rock Dairy, non-alcoholic cocktails and granola from Elderberry Farm, and poached pears from Ballydane Farm. With a chance to stock up on festive treats and purchase some gifts for the foodies in your life!
Santa’s Grotto
Santa is in the building! Santa and his Elves will be here at Bridgewater Shopping Centre EVERY weekend in the run-up to Christmas.

Santa’s Arrival 2025
On Sunday, November 23rd, Santa arrived by the RNLI lifeboat at the north quay at 11:30 am, he met with families as they welcomed him to Arklow.

Autumn Craft Workshop
On Saturday we held a Fun-filled craft workshop where kids could explore their imagination through a hands-on workshop making Autumn-themed cards!

Guess what? Physical tickets are NOW available at the customer service desk for our Fashion Show -from 10-5pm everyday, as well as at the Arklow Cancer Support Office. You can also purchase tickets on eventbrite.
Taster Day - Farmer’s Market Event
For our Farmer's Market in the centre on Thurs, 11th September we are held a special TASTER DAY, this allowed customers to sample some of the delicious treats on offer at the Farmers Market - Held every Thursday from 9:30-2pm

“The Way We Were” Exhibition- Heritage Week
We’re so pleased to announce that Mary Whelan ‘s “The Way We Were” photo exhibition (held here in the centre for heritage week) was a great success which saw Mary raise over €740 in aid of Samaritans East Coast Thank you to everyone who came down to show support, everyone who made this donation possible & of course thank you to Mary for all the work she put in to making this exhibition possible.
Back to school Craft workshop
Back to school craft workshop held in the centre on the 23rd of August in collaboration with Wicklow community partnership. This FREE event allowed children to come and create bookmarks, tote bags and pencil cases all in time for back to school!
